Bangkok Tuk-tuks, Pattaya ”Bad Boys” and Chiang Mai!

How is everyone doing back home.

We heard the weathers good! sorry had to do it, its been a blazing 35 degrees since we first landed 7 days ago. Alot has happened since then. We stayed in Bangkok for 6 days which was a little much to be fair, but some friends were about so it was lashings of Chang all round. The buckets are lethal. Tuktuks and the nana plaza would have to be the highlights not forgetting the nutty dude that took us cruising in his long boat. It was like the man from the golden gun. Bangkok became a little too busy so we headed down to see my uncle in Pattaya, or so we thought. After 12 hours of trying to get in touch with him we got the message, we should’ve spotted it from the fake email address and dodgey telephone number! Thanks robin, Hows the leg…

Next morning we made a speedy exit back to Bangkok (Punch pattaya into google) and instead of heading to the river kwai, we decided to make the long journey North to Chiang Mai where we are currently writing this blog. We took the night train from Bangkok which took about 14 hours. It was an good experince. Its alot more chilled in Chaing Mai, the foods still kick arse good.

We are having problems obtaining our Aussy visas, Shee has to get a chest X-ray (!) and I have to fax over all details for when I was done for Drink driving, 6 years ago! Mum have you got any documents for this? Fingers crossed we get them, if not who knows.

We both hope all is well at home, keep us upto date with all of the goss. Thanks for all the emails and comments, they’re really lovely to get! We’re having an amazing time!

xx

Guys! you couldnt get to see Ian?? He’s not hard to get, call him on 038411380 and ask for Ian - after 1400 is best..

I am in melbourne, its freakin hot but kicking arse, so much going on all the time. We just had Australia day, a big holiday, and guess what??, it was my turn to be sober driver!! (Big smelly poo).

Get here when you can, here is my aussie cell phone: 0422010843

Be cool, dont get conned - never let ANYONE stay in your room, never lend anyone any money as you’ll never get it back (there are loads of sob stories laid on) and never let anyone leave their luggage in your room, even for 5 minutes!! Keep off any illegal substances. I dont want to have to come there to visit you in jail!

    Lecture over - go hard!!

    Linz dog.

All well here guys. No real goss.

Sorry to hear the Australians are giving you the runaround before giving you a visa… hardly worth it imo. I seem to remember the Oz embassy in Ho Chi Minh City were a very accommodating and efficient bunch.

Any fear of seeing some photos in the near future? ;)

Take care and keep on trucking

What you mean you didn’t like Pataya!! ha ha Jaan took me there suprisingly and I’ve never been the same! Anyway glad to hear all is good, I’ve heard that the North of Thailand is a lot nicer than the south but you should go and check out an island for a few weeks at least.

Bit of a bummer about the Visa but sure you’ll get it sorted in the end.

Look forward to seeing some photo’s - keep us all posted on your progress

    Speak soon

Bloody Aussies. They suck really. If you keep having visa trouble, I can marry Bruce and then divorce him if it helps???? Don’t take any crap from the antipodeans. They are softies really.
