Just a quick one to let you all know we’ve arrived safe and sound!
Enjoying the sunshine - SO hot, but the rooftop pool is helping. Just enjoyed some Pad Thai from a street stall, only 25 Baht, I think I could get used to this!
Pics will follow soon. Lots of Love to all!

the question is… is Thailand ready for Bruce and Sile? Glad to hear you’ve already chanced the street food. Make sure you wash it down with plenty of elephant beer.
Take care, and have fun.
PS: The moody black and white photo is a look. Like legends of the silver screen.

Displaying my ignorance I will ask the questions…..What’s Pad Thai and how much is 25 Baht worth??? Sounds good and cheap. Go on, enjoy another laugh at your ma. XXXX

Sawadee kup!
Speaking of crushing defeats, first day of the season for the Rocketeers last night and all I can say is there was a Bruce sized hole in our defence. First game 1-1, second game 4-0. Things are not good in East London.

Heehee! Thanks ma! Pad Thai is kinda the national dish - noodles and chiken or pork all fired u with fish sauce and soy sauce, with some veg. here is about 60 Bhat to the pound, so 25 is less that 50p. I could munch on that ALL day long!
Just met up with a friend from uni - Rick - he is just out here for a 2 week holiday with his mum, it was mad! Also met up with someone Bruce went to uni with and his g/friend. Tey are out here for 6 months then heading to Oz for a year or so, so are is a very similar position to us.
I had a Thai Massage today, it only cost 180 Baht (3 quid) for an hour. It hurt abit but I loved it! Also ate lots more street stall food and caught lots more sun.
We were meant to be leaving Bangkok today but are having so much fun that we think that we’ll stay a few days longer.
Anyway, we love you all lots and I promise that I will send some photos soon (planning to do it tomorrow but you never know!)
Sile
xx
P.S - Bruce is loving the updates Steve!
